Course Overview:
MDX is a query language to question multidimensional data structures as a SQL Server Analysis Services cube.
This one-day course starts with a short view of the concepts of an OLAP cube, followed step by step with an explanation of the basic language syntax. In the first part of the course you’ll learn how to collect your most important information from the cube with MDX.
In the afternoon we’ll show you the most important functions of MDX which can define you the most common calculations.
Each chapter is provided with the necessary demos, and all students will have the opportunity to make exercises/train themselves.
